STUDIO POLICIES
Studio Rules:
No student should be in the studio unless enrolled in that particular class
Students should be dressed and prepared for class before it starts
No street shoes should be worn in the studio
No food of any kind will be allowed in the dance studio
Water in a secured water bottle will be allowed to be kept in the cubby area
Parents should not leave young students unattended in the lobby area before or after class
Chewing gum is never allowed in the studio
Cellphones will be asked to be left in a cubby or in dance bags during practice time
In lieu of a teacher needing to cancel we will attempt to cover with another teacher or a student teacher
If you need to reach your student during class for an emergency, please call the studio line
Always treat your teacher and fellow classmates with respect
Bad weather/ Holidays: The studio will not necessarily close for snow days, regardless if area schools are closed. If classes are cancelled, we will notify parents at least an hour prior. Studio will post holidays we will close.
Attendance: Good attendance is imperative, as absences and tardiness can hold back an entire class. We ask students not miss more than 3 classes, unless extenuating circumstances.
Practice Wear: Leotards are required for girls’ kindergarten to 3rd grade. Girls’ 3rd to 12th grade must wear comfortable form fitting dance attire to display proper body alignment and allow for easy movement. Any age boy must wear black shorts and a tank top. No baggy t-shirts, baggy shorts, blue jeans, jewelry or inappropriate attire will be allowed. Hair should always be securely pulled away from the face.
